Next Board meeting June 6, 2012 at 6 pm at the Chamber office.  The Annual General Meeting wil be June 16, 2012 at Compton Hall sign in beginning at 8 am meeting at 9 am.

President called the meeting to order at 6 p.m.

Financials 

The Board was asked to review the current financials.
Questions asked about expenses for the remainder of the year. 

Architectural Control Committee Report 

A house plan was approved on July 19, 2010 for Block 12, Lot 20 and 1/2 of Lot 21, 104 Bay Court. 

Block 4, Lot 14, 105 Redfish Court proceeding well. Certificate of Occupancy due October 23, 2010. 

There was a discussion about untidy yards and weeds growing in rocks.  The yard at the corner of Bay Street / Bay Court has been improved slightly following a neighborly request from ACC.

Dan Moore offered to go and speak with the property owners about pulling out weeds etc.  

Old Business

·        Pump at E5 has shut down several times and nothing obvious has caused the fault. The President and Phil Gallagher decided to override the sensitive load meter. There have not been any problems since then. 

• Jack Edsill has been hired to maintain the landscaping at the front entrance.
• The fence on Porpoise Drive has finally been repaired by the city.

New Business 

• There have been complaints about a Grunwald dock builder’s barge which has been moored in the canal on Porpoise Drive for several weeks.
•  The secretary will call the property owner and or the dock builder and request that the barge be relocated.
