Next Board meeting June 6, 2012 at 6 pm at the Chamber office.  The Annual General Meeting wil be June 16, 2012 at Compton Hall sign in beginning at 8 am meeting at 9 am.

Meeting Opened. 6:00 p.m. 

Motion to approve the minutes:

·        August 4^th 2010 Regular session.

·        August 4^th 2010 Exec session

Treasurers report: Pat Walters

·        Independent Audit

o       The Audit is Complete.

o       The auditor reclassified the mowing costs for the common property, everything else was satisfactory.

·        Detailed financial report is attached. 

The Board was given a copy of the proposed Budget for 2011

·        Discussion regarding the dues for 2011 

Motion to keep the dues the same as 2010

Motion approved (Four approved, one opposed).

Dues will be $233 for 2011. 

·        The budget was discussed line by line.

·        Some adjustments were agreed. 

Motion to approve the budget as amended for 2011 contingent on Treasurer making the agreed changes on a clean and final copy.

Architectural Control Committee Report. 

·        One new pool application approved, one new dock application approved.

·        Block 4, Lot 14 new construction complete, Certificate of Occupancy received.

·        Block 12, Lot 20/21 new home started. First inspection received.

·        Complaints about work  barge in main canal near Porpoise Drive

o       Secretary will send a letter to Contractor regarding mooring his barge in Pelican Cove.

·        Complaints about the untidy grass and palm trees on the median and

brush pick-up.

o       The Secretary calls the city on a regular basis, it was suggested that individual owners call the city to help reinforce the secretary’s efforts and emphasize the problems. It was also suggested that the Board Members and other owners should attend a City Council meeting to complain. The Secretary will find out the meeting schedule for the City Council Meetings.

Resume regular session 7:27 p.m.
